Childhood Souvenir- School Hymns

Growing up in Ranchi I studied in Loreto Convent school. As a ritual we sang these hymns every morning during assembly. At this particular moment today I remembered a few stanzas and wanted to jot them before my memory faded.

Happiness is where you are and what you want to be.

If you look you are sure to find the rainbow of dreams

If you can look beyond the neon and the glass you will find a new day in your heart

Happy those who know the world and make it there own

Truth and sincerity will be there only home

Tomorrow's fuller than a thousand yesterday's with the vision of a new day in heart

Faith in God can move the mountains

Trust in him can calm the seas

You are fortress your my strong hold 

You are the one who rescues me

God you are my refuge, never let me be afraid

Turn to me and hear my prayer
